Every child is worthy of being SEEN, LOVED, & FOUND

FOUND works directly with educators on over 100 school campuses to meet the basic needs of children.

What is FOUND?

Over the last ten years, FOUND has created, operated and continually improved upon our FUEL IN THE SCHOOL model. This model is designed to meet the most basic needs of school children who often go without food, proper clothing, hygiene items, and school supplies. These kids live right here in our community, often only a few blocks from us. We do this work by inviting the community in to help us meet the needs of the student where they are - in school.

Hear a need. Rally the community. Meet the need.

Teachers are on the frontlines. You’d be shocked at how many teachers provide practical things like deodorant for their students. We partner with schools so that when a student has a need, we can provide a solution. Teachers can “shop” the resources donated from the community to meet the many needs they find in the classroom.

How can you have an IMPACT?

Your support helps us bridge the gap between a student in need and that need being met - often immediately.

Financial donations are critical. They give FOUND the flexibility to respond in real time to the specific, urgent requests we receive every day. When needs can’t wait, financial support allows us to act.

You can also make a direct impact through tangible donations. Clothing, shoes, hygiene items, and snacks can be dropped off at one of our Donation Buildings located in three areas around town.

About

Every day, educators across the South Plains encounter students whose basic needs are not being met.

Children arrive at school without clean clothes, properly fitting shoes, hygiene items, food, or other essentials needed to learn and thrive. Teachers, counselors, social workers, and administrators often see these needs firsthand, but they cannot meet them alone.

FOUND exists to bridge that gap.

We partner with educators and community members to provide practical support for students facing hardship. Through donations, volunteers, and local partnerships, we help connect children with clothing, shoes, hygiene products, food resources, school supplies, and other necessities that allow them to focus on what matters most: being kids and succeeding in school.

Our mission is simple: remove barriers that stand between a child and their opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

When a need is identified, we move quickly. By working directly with educators and school personnel, we can respond to real needs with real solutions—often within days.

At FOUND, we believe every child is worthy of dignity, care, and opportunity. We also believe that when a community comes together to meet basic needs, lives are changed far beyond the classroom.

Whether you donate, volunteer, advocate, or partner with us, you become part of a movement that ensures students across the South Plains know they are seen, valued, and supported.

Together, we help children discover that they are not forgotten.

They are FOUND.

Community Partners

A Letter from The FOUNDer

FOUND began with a simple realization: there are children sitting in our classrooms every day whose basic needs are not being met.

Teachers and school staff see these needs firsthand. A student may need shoes, clothing, hygiene items, food, or other essentials that many of us take for granted. While educators work tirelessly to support their students, they cannot meet every need alone.

I created FOUND to connect the generosity of our community with the needs identified in our schools.

Through our Fuel in the School model, educators can share needs they encounter, and our network of donors, volunteers, and community partners can respond quickly and directly. Together, we remove barriers that keep students from fully participating in school and reaching their potential.

What inspires me most is watching a community come together around a child. Every donation, volunteer hour, and partnership represents someone choosing to show a student that they matter.

Whether you are an educator, donor, volunteer, or advocate, there is a place for you in this mission.

Thank you for helping us ensure that every child is seen, supported, and valued.
