We're Not Asking for the Shirt Off Your Back.
We're asking for the one in your closet you haven't worn in months.
You know the one.
It's still in great shape.
You just don't wear it anymore.
Somewhere in our community, there's a child who would LOVE to wear it.
At FOUND, we are growing! We're serving more school campuses, reaching more students, and responding to requests for clothing every single day. And thanks to the generosity of our community, we've built a system that allows us to move donated items from your closets into the hands of students remarkably quickly.
But to keep responding quickly, we have to stay stocked.
Daily, multiple educators reach out to us on behalf of children who need clothing. Sometimes it's one student who needs a few shirts or a pair of jeans. Other times, it's an entire sibling set…three, four, or more children in the same family who all need clothes that fit.
When those requests come in, we don't want to spend days searching for the right sizes. We want to walk into our warehouse, pull quality clothing for every child, and get it delivered to their school as quickly as possible.
That takes a LOT of inventory. In every size.
It also takes a community that understands the value of giving what they already have.
We're not asking you to go shopping. We're not asking you to give away something you still need.
We're simply asking you to open your closet and take another look.
That shirt you haven't worn since last spring?
Someone we serve would love it.
Those jeans that no longer fit?
They’ll fit someone we serve perfectly.
That jacket that's been hanging untouched for two winters?
It could be exactly what a student needs tomorrow.
We love receiving clean, gently used clothing in good condition…the kind of clothing you'd feel good about seeing a child wear. Since the very beginning, our goal hasn’t been simply to put clothes on kids. It has been to give them clothing they feel comfortable, confident, and proud to wear.
And we're ready for more!
Our team and volunteers are continually sorting, organizing, and distributing donations to school campuses throughout our community. What comes through our doors today can very quickly become the answer to an educator's request tomorrow.
Your unused clothing becomes our ready inventory.
And our ready inventory allows us to say YES when a child needs help.
So here's our invitation:
Clean out your closets.
Bag up those gently used clothes.
Drop them off at FOUND.
We'll take it from there.
You don't have to give us the shirt off your back to make a difference.
The one hanging in your closet will do just fine.
Live like you're FOUND!!
