Over the holidays, someone left a package of toilet paper in our lobby.

Attached was a handwritten note that simply said:

“I felt led to leave toilet paper… I don’t know why… I’m sure there was a reason… Merry Christmas.”

So we set it aside.

Not because it wasn’t needed … but because we didn’t yet know how. That’s not a donation we typically receive.

We use every inch of our Hub to organize items so we can respond to requests quickly. But don’t have a shelf for toilet paper.

Still, we held onto it.

We don’t like to miss a miracle.

No matter how big or how small.

Fast forward to Friday.

We received a request that looked like many others we get: an educator reaching out on behalf of students who had recently lost a loved one and were walking through an incredibly hard season.

She asked for clothing.

She asked for food.

And then she added one more thing:

“and if there is any way I can get… toilet paper.”

The volunteer gathering the items thought she was finished and was about to head out.

Then she saw the package of toilet paper, still sitting there, randomly in the very back, with the note still attached.

She added it to the bundle for pick up.

Later that night she shared how deeply it moved her - how clearly it showed her that God provides, and that He cares about the details.

Even the ones that seem small.

Even the ones that don’t make sense at first.

Sometimes provision doesn’t look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like a package of toilet paper.

And sometimes the reason shows up right on time.
